Montana Tech

The College of Letters Sciences and Professional Studies offers a Healthcare Informatics Graduate Certificate that can be obtained entirely online. The certification provides a terrific opportunity to gain experience and education in IT and computer science within the healthcare sector. 15 credits are needed to complete the program, equating into three core courses and two of three potential electives. The core curriculum covers informatics, decision support, and analysis and design.

Pursuing a degree in Healthcare Informatics can at least double traditional starting salaries, especially for those that find a specialty or an opportunity in administrative services. Typical job positions that graduates have held or accelerated in are project managers, research assistants, and systems analysts.

University of Montana

The College of Business offers a Master of Science in Business Analytics that is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). A combination of 15 credits of core courses and 17 credits of electives complete the curriculum. Students will be educated on becoming a better business communicator, and analyzing and interpreting data sets. Foundational courses are in marketing, statistics, and data analytics.
