Online Data Science Programs in Wyoming
University of Wyoming
The Department of Computer Science offers a Master's degree in the subject, giving the students the option to complete a track with a thesis or non-thesis. Those taking the coursework-exclusive approach will need to complete three additional credits of additional courses, but either way, 33 credits are needed to complete the curriculum. Course subjects will focus on theory, artificial intelligence, programming, and data visualization and interaction.
For transfer students, one credit can be used for each category, and at least 12 credits that are not part of the seminar, nor are writing or algorithms courses, must be obtained at the school in order to graduate. In order to apply for the program, students must send an application with fee, unofficial transcripts, GRE test scores, resume, statement of purpose, and three letters of recommendation.
While the MSCS is not available away from campus, there is an online Master of Business Administration program, accredited by the Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), with no residency requirements. All courses are offered online through the College of Business, and the same networking opportunities are available as those at the Laramie campus. The 30-credit curriculum consists of courses like Marketing Analysis, Financial Management, and Decision Modeling.

The College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Wyoming offers scholarships through their computer science department, and there is a Tatman Family Scholarship Endowment for undergraduates and graduates taking a program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science.
